Minorca, The Island of Calm

Lourdes Segade

Minorca is a major touristic destination in Spain in summer. However, the rest of the year, it is a tranquil place where one can relax and enjoy its authenticity: local produces, peculiar fishermen town, prehistoric monuments and friendly inhabitants. Its landscapes are of great beauty and this is part of the reason why it has been declared Reserve of the Biosphere.
