When any of us look at a magazine one can see the tendencies for next season, new collections… there are ads all over. For women who have undergone a mastectomy it is difficult to see a whole underwear collection or even to buy a swimsuit. They have to go to specific pharmacies or orthopedic shops where they never have the models but the catalogs, what makes it even more difficult. Nowadays design has evolutioned. And so prosthésis have done. All these women have suffered or yet suffer from breast cancer. Some of them had their breasts cut, maybe only one of them or a small piece. Many wear prosthésis. Other had their lacking breasts reconstructed. And they all belong to AGATA, a 10 years old association for women with breast cancer that since its creation has struggled and engaged to achieve great things for the collective. Today they are showing underwear and swimwear for women that had undergone a mastectomy.
